Vielä tämän vuoden aikana maapallon toisella puolella Australian Wool Innovation tuo markkinoille kuumat sukat. Kylmänarkoihin kohtiin neulotaan lämpöä johtavia polymeereja, joita voidaan lämmittää ulkoisesta lähteestä: "What that means is that we can knit a sock in a conventional way without wires, but have it so it can be warmed from an external power source, such as a small battery. [...] The technology at present will give the wearer three hours of warmth. It can be operated with a switch so, and once the socks warm up can be turned off and so prolong the benefits for the wearer." Tahtoo!
